Sicilian Good Friday Procession

It is Good Friday. For many this day is the start to a long Easter Weekend. Time for relaxation, time to spend with families and friends. For many this is a day to celebrate and live their faith.

To this day I never felt the intensity of a Good Friday more than back in 2002 when we spent Easter in Sicily and watched the Good Friday procession in the Old Town of Trapani.

  1. I bet that was moving! We missed the Passion Play put on in Oberammergau (that’s the one every ten years, right?) To this day, I wish we would have gone when we lived in Stuttgart.

    1. Yep, Oberammergau is once every 10 years. I never been there myself. Lesson Learned: We always should seize an opportunity when we have it!! We passed Stuttgart yesterday on our way to visit friends in Zurich. Wish you and your family a very happy Easter! BTW, I miss your posts! Marcus
