Friendly Retaliation

Having Fun

This is what you get sometimes when shooting strangers in the streets 🙂 But why should only the photographer have all the fun?

Taken with my Olympus PEN-F and the mZuiko 25mm F/1.8. Image specs 1/60 sec at f/2.2 and ISO 2000 (it was already much darker than it seems in the photo).

I’m seriously looking forward to the weekend, after another endless hours work week.

If you want to pic up your camera on the weekend and are looking for tips and inspirations around photography, be sure to check out my free Learning Center.

I wish you all a great weekend!

  1. I love getting a reaction when street shooting!! I often shoot on “burst” mode and the shot I most often choose is the one where I’m “noticed”. Sometimes there is response to positive or negative!

  2. Street photography is all about interaction. Different cultures interact differently. The photo that you have is a terrific example.

  3. They look like were enjoying themselves immensely! You’ve captured the moment brilliantly Marcus. I feel like I’m standing there looking upon the scene. I hope you have a restful, stress-free weekend! – Amy

  4. What a charming photo! It’s maybe not the moment we strive to capture when we set out to do street photography, but it’s a beautiful moment of human connection just the same. Have a wonderful weekend, Marcus.
