We’re almost there, Christmas is nearly upon us. Together with The Significant Other, Big Boy and Big Girl plus the grand parents I headed downtown for a last visit to the market. A quite traditional visit, as every year on the last evening before Christmas (remember, we Germans celebrate on the 24th), the wife and her trombone choir perform on the stage in front of the Church of our Lady at Nuremberg’s Christkindlesmarkt.
I took the opportunity to capture a few last festive street photographs with the OM-D E-M1X and the 12-100mm F/4. As usual in P-Mode with ISO 1600 dialed in, just shooting what I saw.
This was the first December in years were the job that pays the bills did not require me to travel, so it was a quite intense Advent season with plenty visits to various Christmas markets, festive encounters with friends and family and some special activities like climbing the tower of St. Lorenz church. And plenty time for photography and blogging. But now I’m glad Christmas is here. And that after the holidays we can move on and out into the new year. So the photo of one of the historic stage coaches that tour Nuremberg’s Old Town during the Christmas market is kind of fitting.
Wish you a great start into the week!
Marcus
