After another two intense workdays in the Pacific Northwest I’m heading home today, currently at Chicago O’Hare Airport for my connecting flight to Munich. Just enough time to share a photograph of a magic ocean sunset taken at Cannon Beach on the Oregon Coast this past Sunday.
This is one of those images when everything fell into place. A beautiful sunset at the end of an awesome day. Low tide, the Pacific Ocean receding enough for me to walk out and capture the reflections on the wet sand. Haystack Rock providing an awesome backdrop. I just had to wait for someone walking onto the scene. True to this blog’s motto: “All the world’s a stage, and all the men and women, merely players” (William Shakespeare). I’m a street photographer, I need humans in my images. My perfect ocean sunset!
The photograph was taken with the Olympus OM-D E-M1X and the mZuiko 7-14mm F/2.8 pro zoom. Post processing in Adobe Lightroom CC Classic.
