For me it is never too late for a good hot Espresso. I can drink it in the morning, I can drink it in the middle of the night. I love my small coffee breaks when shooting in the streets, and I love my Espresso when doing some post processing late in the evening. I find it gets my creative juices flowing.

Image shot with the Olympus OM-D E-M1 and the mZuiko 12-100mm F/2.8. Image specs 1/100 sec @ f/4 and ISO 1600, 100mm focal length.

Post processing in Adobe Lightroom Classic CC.

After returning from my 3 day trip to the Pacific Northwest I’m really enjoying a downtime Sunday with the family….plenty of coffee, music, legs up….the night will be short, as I will be watching the Super Bowl, the game starting 30 minutes past midnight here in Germany. Let’s see if I will make it to bed at all 🙂  The Big Boy is organizing some hot chicken wings, beer is in the fridge…life is good 🙂

I’m the only one seriously into photography in the family, despite my efforts to get my kids more involved. My wife Birgit used to shoot a lot as well, but lately she’s dropped the cams and is snapping away at what she likes with her iPhone 6splus. And when we’re out all together I’m frequently picked on because I take so much time for my picture taking  that the rest of the gang complains they need to wait too long before I’ve captured what I want to capture.
