Ice Ice Baby

Walking into the city the other day, I was quite surprised to see an ice skating rink on the Main Square in Nuremberg’s Old Town. And many people, old and young, obviously enjoying themselves. An awesome opportunity for some low light street photography. Ice Ice Baby….

That was truly an ice party, on that cold Saturday evening in the historic Old Town of Nuremberg. The Nuremberg Winter World will be open until March 9th.

I took the photographs with a Nikon Zf and the Nikkor Z 40mm 1:2 SE, with two iPhone 14 Pro thrown in. RAW conversion and post-processing in Lightroom Classic.

    1. Thanks, John, so much appreciated! But I decided not to skate. Winter sports is kind of dangerous. On of my team members at work blew out her knew skiing last weekend 🙁
The boss needs to stay healthy 😉

      1. Ouch, I hope she recovers! Losing your mobility sucks, I know from experience. As kids we skated all the time in the lake we lived on.
