My 91 year old father just came back from a two week visit to Germany. He was in Bielefeld and it sounds like you’re experiencing more summer like weather than spring. He had a wonderful time by the way visiting his brother and his brother’s family.
So happy your father enjoyed a visit to Germany, especially considering his age, what a blessing! And yes, today we had summer again 🙂 ! Have a great Sunday, Carol! Marcus
Schöne Nürnbergbilder! Bringt Erinnerungen zurück!
And this is why visiting Nuremberg is still on my bucket-list. Beautiful!

We did think about visiting the city, but it is about 3 hours from Landsberg. As we have never really visited your area of Germany, we will come longer next time and venture further 🙂 Lynne
Let me know when you plan to come. There are castles and churches in abundance in Frankonia 😉 ! Have a splendid weekend! Marcus
Thank you Marcus, I will, it will most likely be September now. We are on holiday in Scotland at the moment for 2 weeks and tonight if the cloud is clear……we might see the Northern Lights, something we didn’t see in Iceland 🙂 Lynne…..have a good week 🙂
Thanks, hope seeing the Northern Lights has worked out for you! Looking forward to September!
No it was too cloudy, never mind, Yes looking forward to September, hopefully the weather will be kind to us 🙂
The last one is my favorite, thank you Marcus for sharing. I have grand memories of Nuernberg, since my father was born there in 1912

I guess you have seen yourself 😉 Thanks so much for your kind words! Marcus
Such beautiful shots. Love the reflection and the first shot below the tower.
Sadly i dont think i ever saw nuremburg in the spring. It must have been winter because all i can remember is the foltermuseum, (torture museum)which now i cant get out of my mind!
Thanks for showing me more positive images!
Thanks so much for visit and comment, highly appreciated! Too bad you mainly remember the “Lochgefängnisse”, the medieval prison under our city hall. Time to come back and refresh with happy memories! Have a good weekend! Marcus
So vibrant! So filled with colour! 🙂

Beautiful photos, Marcus — I can’t believe the profusion of blooms and colors! Photographically speaking, though, that last frame may be my favorite. It’s so unexpected, with the texture of the ripples on the water. Nicely seen!
Thanks, Heide, as always 😉 Spring this year was unbelievable. Glad you like the reflection photo, you know, I’m a reflection appassionate. People always give me funny looks when shooting into water, be it river or puddles. Have a great weekend! Marcus
Anyone who looks at you funny for shooting into a puddle clearly has never tried it themselves! 😉
Oh, it looks like you have a really wonderful spring! Blossoms and lilacs already. I love German cities bc they usually have Altstadt, so lovely to feel the history of them.
Thanks, Marina, appreciate your kind words. My photos don’t do justice to the beautiful floral explosion we had the past days. It is totally amazing! Marcus
Nature is really amazing in spring. Photos can’t do justice but at least we try 😉
Beautiful 😍
Thanks, Jhona, love your comment! Marcus
So beautiful, city, as well as captured through your lens. Thank you for sharing Marcus.
You are welcome. The exploding nature must be just as beautiful in your area! wish you a wonderful day. Hope you take some time to venture out into the green!
Yes it is indeed beautiful, but the ticks are out as well. I didn’t eat much time to venture and Mom needs me, but I hope that I will soon free up some time for pictures and a little fun.
…and a meeting :-)….
Can’t do without one 😉
Your city is beautiful in spring.

Thanks, John, glad you like it! Marcus
I love spring in Germany! All the blooming flowers are creating a carneval of colors and make it seem like the earth is laughing.
The purple lilac is my favorite, since its filling the streets with its scent like a perfume. If it was up to me, it could always be spring!
