Nuremberg Airport Instawalk (1)

Last night I have joined the Instawalk at Nuremberg’s Albrecht Dürer Airport (NUE), organized by the admins of the Nuremberg Instagram community @igers_nuernberg. The walk, authorized by the Airport, gave 15 Instagramers the possibility to tour the car parks of the airport with cameras and tripods. The group was led by two admins and and a photographer from the airport staff. To check out some of my images continue after the jump….

I brought my OM-D E-M1 with the 12-100mm F/4 and the PEN-F with my WALIMEX Pro 7,5mm 1:3.5 Fish-Eye, plus a tripod. I used the tripod on some of my first photographs (there will be another post with some color photos as well), but then shot everything handheld. All the images in this post where taken handheld. Again, I can only marvel at the image stabilization of the Oly cameras and the (additional) stabilization system in the 12-100mm lens.

I really enjoyed the walk with a bunch of likeminded photographers, and finally seeing the faces of the people I knew only by their instagram account names. Thanks to the admins for organizing the walk and for NUE Airport to make it possible. I’m already looking forward joining another walk of the the Nuremberg Instagram community.

  4. Beautiful pictures, as always, Marcus. I spend a lot of time in airports. Now I’m going to look at the mundane in a different way. It must have been nice to meet other people with similar passion.

  11. Marcus, It appears that your night was truly a success and an excellent opportunity. The images you have posted are very dramatic. Also, great use of accenting some of your photos with the orange and red colors. Wonderful post!
