More monochrome photography in this post. Taken yesterday on a stormy highway while enroute to our Southern Home in Italy. No worries, I didn’t drive under the influence (of photography). Our e-car was driving autonomous on the highway in Southern Bavaria, supervised by Big Boy sitting behind the wheel. While I was snapping at the amazing cloudscape with ever-changing light with my iPhone 16 Pro Max from the passenger seat. To see more images of this photographic road trip continue after the jump….

As you see, we got everything from sun to snow storm. And this at the end of March – crazy! There was much more snow when we crossed the Swiss Alps later in the evening. But we got safely into Genoa where we will spend the week before Easter in our Southern Home together with our “kids” on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of moving the whole family to Italy where we lived from 2001 to 2005. When Big Girl and Big Boy were still micro-kids….
All images taken with the iPhone out of the moving car, using one of the built-in monochrome styles. Apart from adding a bit of vignette on the snow image no post processing, jpgs straight out of the phone.
Oh…and we arrived in Spring. The sun is sparkling on the harbor water and out on the sea. And it is nice and warm.
Have a great Friday
Marcus

Wow, you always get the best iPhone photos, Marcus! I have the 15 generation but it still does a good job. And, its paid for. I would enjoy that drive, I’ve never set foot in Europe. Have a great weekend!
Thanks, John, much appreciated! Happy Sunday!
